friday fashion: i'm seeing dots

It's Fashion Friday!!!

Today's outfit is courtesy* of TJ Maxx & Sally's (Salvation Army, or otherwise known as 'my thrift store'), FitFlop & other random stores...

This jacket I'm so so loving. I found it at Sally's for just a few bucks. It had some awful shoulder pads that I ripped out, and suddenly it became perfect.

The red shirt is a gem from TJ Maxx, which I just bought a couple of weeks ago. So, if you love it, they might still have it.

And of course, what outfit wouldn't be complete without a white Hanes tank top underneath? This is absolutely a staple in my closet. Well, that and a padded bra. But, you probably didn't need to know that. Although, if you are thinking about birthing kids, you should know this may become a staple in yours one day as well. And if you already have kids, then you know this already, am I right?

My shorts are super old, I've had them almost 5 years, so I have no idea where those came from. Same for the necklace and the ring.

And my sparkle sandals that I love, are the FitFlops I told you about. Super cute and way comfy. I'm not too sure they've been toning my butt and thighs, but they're fun anyway.

*Courtesy of does not mean they provided the outfit. Now if designers did want me to wear their clothes, I'm in no way opposed to that, and I would be more than happy to say the outfit is Sponsored By...You know, just throwing that out there.

So, if you have a fashion related post from today or this week that you want to share with us, feel free to link it up here!

I love that red top, super cute! And I've been curious about the FitFlops for a while, even if they may or may not be toning, are they comfy?

Unfotunately I don't think my big maternity outfit today qualifies as a Fashion Friday link, so I'll spare y'all. :)

Wow your outfit is so stylish and not in a cookie cutter bought the complete outfit off the rack all in one piece way. Each item has it's own personality and works so well together. Thanks for stopping by my blog because then i might not have found yours!

"And if you already have kids, then you know this already, am I right?".

Sadly, you are SO right. This spring break I had the horrible epiphany that I am like flatter than most 12 year olds. Sigh.

You definitely have a flare for fashion. Love your look!

That jacket is such a find! I like how you made it your own by taking out the shoulder pads.

Happy weekend!

fabulous fabulous! love that you took out the pads and it was perfect. I love when just a minor alteration is key to a great look! I LOVE my fit flops. I have the white and black patent versions and seriously I live in mine. Except when I go to work and do my outfit posts, of course ...but as soon as I get home, off go the heels and on go the flops...wearing them right now. Happy Weekend!

When I was a younger single mother I totally dressed from yard sales, Goodwill and Salvation Army. You can find some awesome deals. And I looked good too.

I still won't pay full retail price. Must be on clearance. Now that I am overweight and work from home it is all t-shirts, sweat pants or something similar but thinner and flip flops. It is all about the comfort.

Really cute flip flops or sandals.
